Here at Mainline, as part of our continuing efforts to grow and improve, we undertake accreditations with various industry bodies, on an on-going basis. This ensures we remain fully compliant with all relevant standards set. We currently hold the following accreditations/memberships:
Achilles Link-up is recognised as best practise in qualifying suppliers, and is used extensively by buyer organisations to manage risk and comply with legislation. Achilles Link-up is governed by a RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) Board compromising of cross-industry representation, and the RISQS Board members contribute to the development of the service.
After many years of working to a high standard, we implemented a Quality Management system to achieve ISO 9001:2008, which our employees worked hard to achieve and with great enthusiasm. Our system demonstrates our ability to:
a. consistently provide products/services which meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
b. enhance customer satisfaction by applying the system effectively, including processes of continual improvement and conformity to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Mainline directors are conscious of the impact environmental issues can have on a company. By setting out a framework within our management system, customers have the assurance that potential impacts are monitored, measured and improved.
Achilles identifies, qualifies, evaluates and monitors suppliers such as ourselves, so that we are visible to major companies and they always have access to current information about us during the qualification and selection processes. It also means we build mutually-beneficial, long-term relationships with buyers and they know we are reliable and qualified to supply them.
SMAS (Safety Management Advisory Services) – Worksafe Contractor
Many clients nowadays will now only use contractors and consultants selected from an approved database who have demonstrated the appropriate level of competence in their Health & Safety management systems. Mainline customers can be assured that we have been assessed and accredited by an SSIP member scheme and our SMAS Worksafe Certificate promotes that we meet Stage 1 Core Health & Safety Criteria.
Mainline are proud to state that they became an IPAF accredited Training Centre in March of this year.
IPAF training is in demand and is good business for any company, helping them to improve safety in the workplace; covering Health & Safety obligations, accident prevention and working at height regulations. As a company we are required to provide proper and adequate training to customers in the use of work equipment both in-house and externally. Our courses enable platform operators to work more efficiently, productively and most importantly safely.
IPAF Rental+ is an independent quality mark that is awarded to member rental companies who have been audited to meet defined standards in customer service, safety, staff training, contract terms and machine inspection. These standards are industry-driven and self-regulating. Mainline Training achieved its annual accreditation on the 15 March 2013, and the quality mark distinguishes us as being a reliable supplier of access equipment.
PASMA are the lead trade association for the mobile access tower industry and represent the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users, as well as overseeing the industry standard training scheme and being a major publisher of safety-related knowledge, information and guidance. On the 12 March, 2013, Mainline became a fully accredited and approved PASMA Training Centre, an achievement of which we are very proud.
